Masison WI - PEDESTRIAN INJURED IN HIT AND RUN

Madison, WI. February 10, 2008. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2008 Sheriff’s Deputies, Waunakee Police, and Waunakee EMS responded to a hit and run to a pedestrian at 6788 State Highway 113, town of Vienna. The male, age 37 from Waunakee, was found in the roadway by a Dane County Plow Driver. He was transported by EMS to University Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.

The victim has been identified as Timothy Z. Brekke. He remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Anyone having contact with Mr. Brekke Saturday evening into the early Sunday morning hours or having any other information about this investigation is asked to call the Dane County tip line at 284-6900.
